My name is Tim, and I'm the founder of Jatel Design.
It brings me the greatest pleasure to share with you a product that has been in the works for a very long time.
As a young boy growing up in Uganda, my home country, I didn't always have access to proper lighting at night with power cuts happening often. This allowed me and my siblings to spend a lot of time together around candles and other forms of temporary lighting playing games and telling stories late into the night. These fond memories and experiences instilled in me a passion for lighting and the experiences that can be created by simply curating the lighting and atmosphere of a space. From my background in architecture and interior design this led me to create Jatel Design lamps.
